Underwater time-lapse shows secret life of a coral reef
Australia's Great Barrier Reef has been enchanting divers for years with amazing colours and curious lifeforms.
But for one scientist that wasn't enough. Dr Pim Bongaerts, of University of Queensland in Australia, wanted to learn more about how coral interacts, something that usually happens too slowly for us to see.
So he used time-lapse photography and has spent the past five years studying the interactions of living corals.
