UK Space Agency asks for meal designs for Tim Peake

What does an astronaut eat in space? Well today the UK Space Agency is giving you the chance to decide.

Children aged 8 to 14 are being asked to design a meal for British astronaut Major Tim Peake to eat when he heads into space.

The food he'll eat needs to last a long time, be healthy and be suitable for the conditions in space.

Newsround chatted to Tim from his training camp in Houston, America, to find out what makes good space food.
