Town overrun by butterflies

A town in China has been overrun by tens of thousands of butterflies.

More than 700 species of butterfly are flying about Maandi Township, in southwest China.

The people there say they're having to be careful not to step on them.

It's thought hot temperatures, good rainfall and vegetation in the region helps butterflies thrive there.
