Dolphin spotted in the River Severn in Gloucestershire
Marine experts have been keeping watch of a bottlenose dolphin that has been spotted along the River Severn.
The dolphin is two to three meters long and travelled up the river to look for food.
It was first seen a week ago during the high tides between Stonebench and Elmore Lane West by people in the local area.
Julia Cable, from British Divers Marine Life Rescue, said: "It's stayed in one area and we are observing it, the dolphin seems to be quite healthy."
She added it was "unusual" to see a bottle-nosed dolphin in the river.
