Scientists create real hoverboard

A company in California, USA, has created a real-life hoverboard,

It's similar to one seen in the classic film, Back to the Future 2, where the main character Marty McFly hops on a hoverboard, which is a skateboard that flies through the air.

There is no air lifting the board. Instead, the company uses special magnetic technology that keeps the board off the ground.

In the future, the technology may also be used during earthquakes and floods.
