'Fireball meteor' seen racing through sky in Japan

Experts think they've spotted a "fireball" meteor racing across the sky in Japan.

In footage captured on film a sparkling light is seen moving through the air at high speed.

Experts think it's a piece of an asteroid that ignites when it enters Earth's atmosphere.

They say any surviving pieces of the fireball will most likely have ended up in the sea.

A camera at Fukuoka airport recorded the sighting.
