Robo-penguin helps bird research
A remote-controlled vehicle which looks like a penguin chick is being used to help research the emperor breed of the bird.
Emperor penguins are shy so it is difficult to get close to the animals but the robo-penguin can get closer than humans ever could.
Experts from the National Centre for Scientific Research in Strasbourg say the unusual approach provides "a less invasive and stressful way to collect data on these species".
