Schools given unwanted instruments after campaign

A campaign to give unwanted musical instruments a new home has been a massive success.

Musician James Rhodes asked people to donate unwanted violins, trumpets and other non-electric instruments so they could be given to school children.

The Don't Stop The Music campaign received more than 6,000 instruments, including a guitar from pop star Labrinth!

They have all been refreshed and repaired and delivered to 150 primary schools - Ricky went along to one of them.
