Robot serves ice cream in China

A robot that serves ice cream has been attracting large crowds in China.

The robot can make six different flavours of dessert for customers and its movements are all controlled by a computer.

It lives inside a glass box in a shopping centre in Shenyang and cost about £160,000 to make.

One customer told the local news: "It's the first time that I have seen such an advanced robot. I had only seen them in movies."
