Frozen fruits cool off animals in Brazil

Summer has brought some chilly treats for these animals in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

As temperatures reached a toasty 40 degrees, zoo keepers treated the animals to some frozen refreshments.

Ze Comeia, a brown bear, received a frozen watermelon, while Neto the Siberian tiger kept cool with an iced meat-lolly.

Keepers say the treats are designed to keep the animals healthy and stimulate their senses, as well as keep them cool.
