Polar bear in dentist's chair at Highland Wildlife Park

Walker, a male polar bear at The Highland Wildlife Park, has had his regular trip to the dentist for a check-up.

It took 23 people to help manhandle him into place at the park in Scotland.

Polar bears are very powerful animals so for safety, Walker needed to be asleep throughout the procedure.

Walker's had problems with his teeth in the past and needs a regular check to make sure all's well with his gnashers.

Workers have confirmed it was just a chipped tooth so with some running repairs Walker was good to go. They'll give him another check-up later in the year.

Watch Martin's report.
