How to make a skyscraper's shadow disappear

As more and more tall buildings take over the skylines of cities around the UK, some people were worried they'd always be out of the sunshine - and walking in the gloom.

But an architecture firm based in London has come up with some new technology to try to solve the problem.

NBBJ believes if you build two specially shaped skyscrapers - fairly close to each other - the glare from the first is reflected in the second.

The light is diffused and stops shadows being formed.

No building has yet been completed.

It's just being shown on a computer model.

Listen to Christian Coop, from NBBJ explain how it will work.
