The schoolgirl helping to raise money for Nepal

Meet the schoolgirl from surrey who has helped raise over a thousand pounds for children caught up in the Nepal earthquake.

Nine-year-old Tara has been raising money by setting up cake sales and a non-school uniform day.

Her Dad is a doctor, and was born in Nepal.

Since the first earthquake happened in Nepal Tara's dad has been helping to treat people who have been injured by the earthquake, and has been handing out supplies to people who need them.

Tara's been helping him to put together the supplies to send to Nepal. She spoke to Leah about what she has been doing...
