Woman attempts first solo cross Pacific row
An American woman is trying to become the first female to row solo across the Pacific Ocean.
Sonya Baumstein began the near 10,000km journey in the Japanese port of Choshi.
She's sailing in a custom made craft with no motor or sail, carrying more than 500kg of freeze dried food.
Sonia should reach San Francisco, on the other side of the world, sometime in the next four to six months.
