Sharks spotted by camera drones in California

Lifeguards in the United States have come up with a new tool to protect beach visitors from potential shark attacks.

Drones with video cameras on board are being used to spot sharks swimming near the beach.

The flying drones send live video back to the lifeguard who can then warn visitors that sharks are nearby.

Using drones to spot sharks is much quicker than patrolling the ocean on a boat, which can take hours.
