Safari park in Japan builds elephant swimming pool

Visitors at a safari park in Japan will be able to get a closer view of the animals through a glass panelled swimming pool that's just been built.

The tank is 65 metres long and is a similar width to rivers in the wild.

Staff at the Fuji Safari Park say the elephants are eating more after swimming around four laps a day.

The glass panelling alongside the pool, means people can watch the animals whilst they're paddling their legs or even swimming underwater.
