Migrant kids draw their journey through Europe

Thousands of people are arriving in Europe every day in the hope of a better life.

Many of them are escaping war and poverty at home, in countries like Syria, Iraq and parts of Africa.

It can be a long and very dangerous journey across land and sea.

Many people arrive in Italy or Greece first, because they're the closest countries to where they've come from.

Thousands of people have then tried to travel through Europe to try to reach Germany, France and the UK.

Many of them are children, who accompany their parents on the journey.

BBC correspondent James Reynolds spent time with some of them as they were passing through Hungary.
