The kids helping hedgehogs

Kids in Somerset have come up with some handy hints to help our prickly pals!

They want to create 'wildlife corridors' so it's easier for them to move around outside.

Often things we have in our gardens or playgrounds might stop hedgehogs and other animals from being able to find somewhere safe to sleep or new places to look for food at night.

Pupils in the South West of England came up with the idea and they now want other schools across the country to do the same.

It's all because the number of hedgehogs is going down so they want to help protect them.

What a sharp bunch!
