School children get elderly pen pals from local care homes

Forget texting, snapchatting or instagramming your mates, these kids are messaging friends using hand written letters.

Teachers at one primary school think pupils are missing out by not putting pen to paper, the way their grandparents did.

So, the school in Kidderminster has teamed up with two local care homes to launch a special pen pal scheme.
