Maisie Goes To Hollywood

Six-year-old Maisie Sly is the star of the Oscar winning short film The Silent Child.

The message of the film is that deaf children can do anything, so we went to meet a deaf child showing Hollywood how true that is!

Newsround spent Oscars weekend in the movie capital, Los Angeles, USA with Maisie and her family as they waited to see if the Silent Child would win one of biggest prizes in cinema!
