Futuristic plane flies without moving parts

A team of scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, have created the first ever plane to take flight without moving parts.

To fly, it uses something called 'electroaerodynamic propulsion', which involves positive and negative molecules in the air.

This new plane could be a greener and quieter alternative to what we're used to.
