New purple shirts for young football referees

New measures to protect young referees who've been getting abuse from fans during matches.

Cheltenham's Youth League is trialling new purple shirts to help identify them as Under-16s to the crowd.

It's hoped people will think twice about shouting at a child referee.

So far the change in shirt seems to be working.

We hear from young referees Ben and Richie to see what difference it's made for them.
