Brexit: As the UK leaves the EU this is the story of Brexit

The UK will leave the European Union on 31 January 2020.

Adults in the UK originally voted on whether they wanted to remain or leave the EU on 23 June 2016.

Over 30 million people voted in the referendum with the leave vote coming out on top with 52% of the vote.

Now, three years and seven months on, the UK will finally leave the EU.
