Northern Lights: New 'dune' pattern discovered by amateur stargazers

Amateur stargazers in Finland have discovered a new form of the Northern Lights which take the form of dunes.

The Northern Lights - also called the Aurora Borealis - are a colourful light show that occurs naturally in the sky in the northern hemisphere.

They often form different patterns, but scientists say these ones are a new form which look likes sand dunes.
