How do weather forecasters see into the future?

It's pretty cool how weather people can look ahead and tell if it's going to be hot or cold, dry or wet.

So how do they do it?

It's National Weatherperson's Day so we thought we'd ask BBC weather presenter Owain Wyn Evans to tell us more about his job.
