Poo reveals elephant population in Gabon bigger than thought

Researchers in Gabon, in central Africa, have been studying elephant poo to find out how many forest elephants there are.

They have been using DNA technology to track individual's poos which helps them estimate how many of the critically endangered animals are living in the country.
