Rail strikes: Why are they happening?

You may have found that your usual journey to school this morning was a bit trickier than usual.

This is because railway workers are striking throughout the UK today and on Thursday and Saturday this week.

As a result there are far fewer trains running and lots of people are struggling to get to places like work and school.

But why are the railway workers striking? And what does it mean? Ricky has more.
