Israel: What is life like for people living there
Fighting has broken out in the country of Israel, in the Middle East after a militant group called Hamas, launched a series of attacks over the weekend.
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, said the country is at war and Israel's military responded with air strikes on an area called Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas.
BBC reporter Anna Foster is in Ashkelon in Israel and sent us this report.
