In pictures: Fleeing war in Ukraine - a child's view

Meet Iryna. She's 15 and says she used to live a comfortable life in Ukraine about 100km from the Russian border.

But that all changed when Russia invaded Ukraine last year and she had to flee her home.

She is now a survivor of war and has bravely shared some photos to tell her story in pictures. It's part of an exhibition for Street Child, a global charity that helps children with access to education.

It's turning 15 and is showcasing photos from five 15-year-olds who live in some of the world's toughest places.

"I want for other kids to feel and understand that everything can be overcome," Iryna says.

Shanequa visited the exhibition with some pupils in a gallery in London.

One pupil said: "As teenagers we're used to taking pictures on our phones, just like everything we see, trying to capture aspects of our life."

"She's caught this moment of her life, which is... maybe even the lowest point in her life.. but she's still managing... to capture the beautiful aspects of her life that still exist and maybe a sliver of hope."
