Primary school pupils speak to astronaut living on the ISS

The International Space Station is the largest spacecraft of its kind ever built.

It orbits our planet every 90 minutes, whizzing around the Earth at five miles per second.

The ISS has been home to astronauts for nearly 25 years, but what’s life really like for those living up there?

Pupils from one lucky primary school got the chance to find out.

They were given the opportunity to ask some of their burning questions to female astronaut Sunita Williams who is currently living on the ISS.
