Exeter boss Paul Tisdale predicts Matt Taylor departure

Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale says captain Matt Taylor could have played his last game for the club.

The 29-year-old defender made 32 league appearances for the Grecians as they finished eighth in League One., external

Tisdale told club's official website:, external "Matt is unlikely to stay with us and we've agreed he'll look at possibilities elsewhere.

"He felt like it was the right time for him and we fully support that but the door is open for Matt."

He added: "He's a big big player for us and he deserves a good move if he can find one."

Exeter's vice-captain David Noble is also approaching the end of his contract, as are Richard Duffy, Daniel Nardiello and Jamie Cureton.
