Ivorian teenage prodigy Souleymane Coulibaly has reached an agreement to join English side Tottenham Hotspur.
The 16-year-old will join the club from Italian side Siena after being targeted by some top clubs in Europe.
Coulibaly excelled at the recent U17 World Cup which prompted interest in him but Spurs have agreed a deal.
"We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Souleymane Coulibaly to join the club," Tottenham said in a statement.
Coulibaly scored nine goals in four games for the Ivorians during the recent U17 World Cup in Mexico
His hat-trick in the match against Brazil and four goals in their clash with Denmark gave him the golden boot award of the tournament.
The Ivorians reached the last 16 of the U17 World Cup but Coulibaly managed to equal the tournament's scoring record.
The record was set by French striker Florent Sinama Pongolle, who achieved the feat, having played three more games in 2001.
In the wake of his achievements in Mexico he was linked with several clubs including Real Madrid and AC Milan.
