Brentford sign Watford's Hodson & Fulham's Trotta on loan

Brentford have completed the loan signings of Watford defender Lee Hodson and Fulham striker Marcello Trotta.

Both players have joined the League One club until 13 January.

Full-back Hodson, 21, has been capped by Northern Ireland and has made 91 appearances for the Hornets after coming through the club's youth ranks.

Italian Trotta, 20, joined Fulham after time on the books at Napoli and Manchester City and scored eight goals during a spell at Wycombe last season.

Mark Warburton, Brentford's sporting director, told the club website: "Marcello is a player we have admired for a long period.

"I have known and worked with Lee for a number of years and it has been a pleasure watching him develop into a highly talented full back."
