Jamie Proctor and Andy Monkhouse shared all four goals as Crawley and Hartlepool drew at Broadfield Stadium.

Proctor put Crawley ahead by tapping in a cross from Josh Simpson but Monkhouse soon levelled for Pools, heading in a left-footed cross from Luke James.

Monkhouse then added to his haul in the 80th minute with a volley into the top corner.

However, Proctor grabbed a point for the Red Devils in the final minutes with a close-range finish.

Crawley Town manager Richie Barker speaking to BBC Sussex:

We deserved to win - Barker

"We deserved to win the game. I think if you look at the overall season to finish in the top 10 for a team who were playing non league football two years ago I think it is a fantastic achievement.

"The result sums up the players, they don't know when they are beaten. It was a fantastic effort considering at times we thought we had no chance of the play-offs. So for them to keep on going is excellent.

"We could be negative and look back to see where we could have picked up the points but I am sure that everybody at this football club would have taken 10th at the start of the season."
