Nicky Wroe: Shrewsbury Town re-sign Preston midfielder on loan

Shrewsbury Town have re-signed midfielder Nicky Wroe on loan from League One rivals Preston North End.
Wroe, 28, left Shrewsbury for Deepdale, along with Shane Cansdell-Sherriff, at the end of the 2011-12 season, having turned down the offer of a new deal after helping Town to win promotion,
But he has made just one league start for Simon Grayson's side this season.
And, with Luke Summerfield having aggravated a groin injury, Wroe has returned on an initial month's loan.
Sheffield-born Wroe, who began his career at Barnsley, has since also played for Bury (loan), Hamilton Academicals, York City and Torquay United.
He is set to go straight into the Town team for Saturday's trip to Brentford - for what will be his 340th career appearance, during which time he has scored 50 goals.
"We know what Nicky Wroe can do," Town boss Graham Turner told BBC Radio Shropshire. "He's a senior player who knows what the game's about.
"He's powerful, he gets in the opponents' box, and he can score goals."
