James Alabi: Mansfield Town want Stoke striker to stay

Mansfield Town boss Paul Cox says James Alabi could "light up" League Two and hopes to extend the striker's loan deal when it ends at the end of November.
Alabi joined on a month-long deal but was sent off 32 minutes into his debut in the 3-0 loss at Southend and was subsequently banned for three games.
Cox told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We are speaking to Stoke consistently and I'd like to spend a bit more time with him.
"I think the kid could really light up this division."
Cox is convinced the 18-year-old, who is yet make a first-team appearance for the Potters, has plenty of talent.
"The kid is full of potential. As the supporters at Southend saw in the 20-minute appearance he made for us, he is going to be a handful," Cox added.
"We are speaking to Stoke consistently and have enquired about his availability. Stoke are talking within their camp and seeing what's best for the lad."
