Southport 1-1 Hyde

  • Published

Danny Hattersley's 78th-minute equaliser for Southport denied Hyde a first victory of the season.

It was the bottom-placed Tigers' first point since 2 November and means they are without a win since 9 April.

After dominating early on Hyde broke the deadlock when Scott Spencer converted Danny Carlton's cross.

Hattersley rammed home John Dillon's cross to level for the Sandgrounders, while Southport ended with 10 men after Ben Jefford collected two yellows.

Hyde are now 15 points adrift of Dartford in 23rd, and 21 points shy of 20th-placed Aldershot.
