Nuneaton finally ended their goal drought and claimed a first win of the new Conference campaign as they beat promoted Altrincham.

After over seven and a half hours without a goal, Boro went ahead when Andy Brown hit the back of the net with a bullet header.

Jack Dyer then doubled Nuneaton's advantage with a driven effort from 20 yards out to seemingly seal the points.

Damien Reeves scored a late consolation for Altrincham after a good team move.
