Andy Robinson: Shrewsbury Town allow injured midfielder time off

Shrewsbury Town have allowed summer signing Andy Robinson time off as he comes to terms with a career-threatening knee injury.
The 35-year-old former Tranmere Rovers, Swansea City and Leeds United midfielder has made just three substitute appearances this season.
And Town boss Micky Mellon has allowed him to go away and consider his future.
"He wants some time way to think about what he does with his life," Mellon told BBC Radio Shropshire.

Andy Robinson joined Shrewsbury on a one-year contract this summer following his release by Tranmere Rovers, with whom he has had three separate stays. |
"He's a great lad, a personal friend as well, a lad I've known very well for a very long time.
"He's got a lot on at the moment, not just with his injury, but in his private life. And it's important we respect that."
