Welling United 3-1 Aldershot Town

Welling made it four wins in seven league matches with victory over Aldershot at Park View Road.

Malachi Hudson assisted Tyrone Marsh's calm finish and provided the pass for Kieron St Aimie to double the lead with a low drive after the interval.

The visitors rallied and Glenn Wilson converted a rebound but the effort was merely consolation as Marsh rounded off a neat move late on.

Welling move to 16th, two points and two places above Aldershot.

Aldershot Town first team coach Matt Gray told BBC Surrey:

Matt Gray: Aldershot coach after defeat to Welling

"We dominated for large periods, they've scored goals against the run of play and we've had numerous chances to get back into the game. It was certainly a frustrating afternoon.

"We conceded in injury time in the first half, in the second-half they got the early goal and from there we completely dominated.

"I think we had double the amount of chances they had but they managed to take them and fair play.

"There are still positives to take out of that, the lads are still together and you can see the mood of the players. I don't think there's a lot of criticism to be had."
