Championship side Bolton have signed Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos on a one-month loan and agreed a new deal with midfielder Neil Danns.

Amos, 24, will cover the loss of Adam Bogdan after the Hungarian was ruled out for six weeks with an ankle injury.

Danns, 32, has signed a new one-year contract at the Macron Stadium, keeping him at the club until 2016.

Meanwhile, midfielder Jay Spearing has been allowed to join Blackburn on loan for the remainder of the season.

Amos has made just seven first-team appearances since coming through the academy at Old Trafford, but does have Football League experience from loan spells at Carlisle, Hull, Oldham and Peterborough.

Former Crystal Palace, Birmingham and Leicester midfielder Danns agreed a permanent deal with the club last April after a successful loan spell.

Spearing, a former Liverpool trainee, had been in talks with a move to Watford but the Hornets instead brought in Wigan's Ben Watson.
