Reigning Jersey champions St Paul's are in the driving seat to retain their Premiership title after Jersey Scottish were surprisingly beaten by St Ouen.

The parish side's 2-1 victory inflicted just a second defeat of the season on Scottish after goals from Dominic Pougelle and Ryan Thorpe.

It means St Paul's need just a point from their final game at home to third-placed Jersey Wanderers next week.

If St Paul's are beaten there will be a play-off for the title.
