Shaun Whalley: Shrewsbury Town sign former Luton Town winger

Promoted Shrewsbury Town have confirmed the signing of winger Shaun Whalley.
The 27-year-old has joined the League One side on a two-year deal. following his release by last season's League Two promotion rivals Luton Town.
Whalley becomes Shrewsbury's fourth signing of the summer.
Former Town loan defender, external Mat Sadler returned to the Meadow in May after his release by Rotherham, followed by Ross County midfielder Martin Woods and Dagenham & Redbridge captain Abu Ogogo.

Merseyside-born Whalley played for a string of north-west based non-league clubs before joining Luton in 2013.
He first moved to Shropshire in the 2013-14 season when he signed for Shrewsbury's neighbours AFC Telford United on loan.
Whalley was arrested on suspicion of assault in April and suspended by the club after an incident following Luton's annual awards night. He left the Hatters in May.
Meanwhile, Shrewsbury are yet to conclude negotiations over new deals for defender Jermaine Grandison, young winger Josh Ginnelly and strikers Jean Louis Akpa-Akpro and Andy Mangan, who wants to stay, but has revealed that he has had interest from other clubs.
