Defenders Ben Gordon, who has left Alloa Athletic, and Ross Millen, previously with Dunfermline Athletic, have signed for Livingston.

The 29-year-old Gordon had been with their Scottish Championship rivals for four years after leaving Dumbarton and made 49 appearances last season.

Millen played 33 times last season for League One outfit Dunfermline.

He had been with Clyde and St Mirren as a youth before breaking into the Pars' first-team in 2013.

Livi manager Mark Burchill told his club website that the West Lothian club had "beat off a lot of competition to secure their services".

"Ross is a player I've watched and known for several years," he said.

"He's very experienced for his young age: a real ball-playing full back with a fantastic engine.

"Ben is a player I've wanted to sign ever since I became manager.

"He's a natural leader on and off the park and captained Alloa to successive League titles on the way to the Championship."

Gordon was in the Alloa team that lost 4-0 to Livingston in the final of last season's Petrofac Training Cup.
