Jelle Vossen: Burnley agree deal for Genk striker
- Published
Championship side Burnley have agreed a deal to sign Genk striker Jelle Vossen on a three-year deal.
The 26-year-old spent last season in the Championship on loan at Middlesbrough and scored nine goals as they reached the play-off final.
Boro had the option to make the deal permanent up until 31 March, but failed to complete anything before that date.
The Belgium international will undergo a medical and discuss personal terms before the move.
Should the deal go through, Vossen will become the first Belgian to represent the Clarets.
