Rochdale sign Nathaniel Mendez-Laing on one-year deal

Mendez-Laing scored once last season in his 27 appearances for Peterborough and Cambridge

Rochdale have signed winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing on a one-year deal.

The 23-year-old left Peterborough during the summer after spending the last three months of last season on loan at Cambridge.

After starting his career at Wolves, he joined Posh permanently in 2012 and has also had stints at Sheffield United, Portsmouth and Shrewsbury.

He becomes Dale's fourth new signing this summer after Lewis Alessandra, Donal McDermott and Jim McNulty.
