Rotherham United are currently 23rd in the Championship
Championship strugglers Rotherham United have signed former Leeds United youth team captain Simon Lenighan.
The 21-year-old midfielder left the Elland Road side in the summer and has spent time with non-league sides Frickley and Harrogate.
Boss Neil Redfearn, who worked with Lenighan at Leeds, said: "He is 6 ft 3 ins, very athletic and a box-to-box type of player."
He could feature against Bristol City on Saturday.
