It's the Patrick Mahomes show! The Chiefs quarterback lowers the shoulder and powers over for a first down, and then takes off again and scampers 13 yards to dive over in at the corner for the touchdown.

Usually known for his audacious and unorthodox throws, Mahomes is doing this with his running and toughness - truly leading by example.

Kareen Hunt runs for a first down, and getting something going on the ground really is crucial for the Chiefs, they just can't put it all on Patrick Mahomes all the time.

Getting at least some joy on the ground will really open things up in the pass game - it'd also slow down this fearsome Eagles pass rush then comes swarming up the middle.

In the space of three plays, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has completed two passes worth a combined 50 yards.

Only a few minutes to go until half-time, but the Cardinals are pushing to extend their lead before the break.

  6. ouch!

Surtain forced offpublished at 22:08 BST 14 September

    Denver Broncos 14-13 Indianapolis Colts

Pat Surtain II, the current reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, has limped off very gingerly after what looked like a nasty collision.

The Broncos are still on top for now, but that's a blow in what has been a tight contest so far.

    Denver Broncos 14-13 Indianapolis Colts

The fourth and final reception is only three yards, but it was all that was needed to level the game up.

The extra-point from Will Lutz is good and the Broncos lead.

Quarterback Daniel Jones just needs a yard for the score!

A pleasing start to the second quarter for the hosts.

  13. touchdown

Touchdown - Eaglespublished at 21:51 BST 14 September

Philadelphia Eagles 7-0 Kansas City Chiefs

Who else? A typical Eagles drive, with a tush push fourth down conversion in there, and finished off by Saquon Barkley dancing through a big hole created by his offensive live and taking off 13 yards for the opening touchdown.

New York Giants 37-37 Dallas Cowboys

Great throw from Dak Prescott and great catch from George Pickens advances Dallas down the field - to what would be a 60-yard field goal Brandon Aubrey, and judging by how high his 64 yarder went through is well within his reach.

  18. field goal

Field goal - Pantherspublished at 21:42 BST 14 September

    Carolina Panthers 3-10 Arizona Cardinals

The Panthers cannot get through in this first quarter against the Cardinals.

On third down, Bryce Young's pass towards Hunter Renfrow is a tough catch that is ultimately, batted away.

Ryan Fitzgerald, from 27 yards, picks up three points.

  19. Punts awaypublished at 21:41 BST 14 September

Philadelphia Eagles 0-0 Kansas City Chiefs

Three drives and three punts so far in the Super Bowl rematch. Jalen Hurts fumbled after being sacked early on but after that nothing too much to raise eyebrows as these two giants just hrow jabs so far.

    Defences looking pretty solid.

  20. Picked off!published at 21:39 BST 14 September

New York Giants 37-37 Dallas Cowboys

What's Russell Wilson done here!? He's launched another deep ball, but nowhere near his receiver really and Donovan Wilson goes up unopposed to grab the interception and give Dallas the ball right back.

Wilson's thrown some great deep balls today but wrong time wrong place with that one.
