Puka Nacua being out through injury is a big blow for the Rams, as he had already mustered 54 catches, 616 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Matthew Stafford still has Davante Adams to throw to though...

We're deep into the pre-game now here at Wembley, the Jaguars cheerleaders are out to welcome the 'home' team out onto the field and the teal flags left out on all the seats around the stadium are being waved by excited NFL fans in London.

It's certainly got a bit of a home game feel, with the Rams getting the majority of the boos but there's still a big array of different team jerseys on display with the London games still an 'event' for gridiron lovers.

  5. Will early arrival be advantage for Jags?published at 14:19 BST 19 October

In contrast to the Rams, the Jacksonville Jaguars left Florida on Monday and arrived in London on Tuesday.

Speaking at the Jags' base in Hertfordshire on Wednesday, quarterback Trevor Lawrence said: "There's two thoughts. I think this gives us a good opportunity to get our rest and get adjusted by the time Sunday comes around. And we can get a couple of good days of practice here and get acclimated, so I think it's been good so far."

Head coach Liam Coen added: "Is it an advantage? I don’t know, there’s sports science that supports both.

"We talked about this being a possible opportunity for a new 'everything', to maybe be together for an extended period of time. I talked to some of the players in the off-season about what they liked. That weighed into it. We did all the pros and cons from a sports science standpoint. We dove into it.

"At the end of the day, I thought it was just a great opportunity for our team to be together. I do think it came at the perfect time [in the season]."

Trevor Lawrence enjoyed his first NFL win in London as the Jacksonville Jaguars kicked a field goal as time expired to beat the Miami Dolphins 23-20 at Tottenham.

Although the Jags' quarterback told me he hasn't spoken to Travis Hunter about the possibility of him also enjoying a breakout performance in London, he does remember that win in 2021 fondly.

“That was some good memories," he said at the Jags' base in Hertfordshire on Wednesday. "We needed that one bad.

"We came over here 0-5 going into that game and played the Dolphins. It was fun getting the win, I can tell you that. It makes the flight back a lot more fun when you win so that’s obviously the goal for this Sunday.”

  9. Two teams closely matchedpublished at 14:07 BST 19 October

Both sides come into the game at 4-2 with the Rams having won in Baltimore last Sunday while the Jags were well beaten by Seattle after impressive wins in San Francisco and at home against the Chiefs.

LA are 2-2 in international games, while London regulars Jacksonville are 7-6 and have won their last two games at Wembley.

In the head-to-head the Rams dominate with a 5-1 record, with the Jags failing to score more than 23 points in any of those six meetings.

The Rams are favourites, with the eighth best defence and fifth best offence in the league, but the Jags have a better turnover differential with a defence that can really hunt the ball down.

This should be a good one today.

Late field goal hands Bengals thrilling win over Steelers

What a game to start the week, with a battle of the 40-something quarterbacks turning into a classic as Aaron Rodgers and Joe Flacco slugged it out in Cincinnati.

The two veterans may have a combined age of 81, but they also combined for almost 600 passing yards and seven touchdowns between them.

Both produced some brilliant clutch plays down the stretch, but Flacco had the final word - which is even more amazing since he's only just joined the Bengals from Cleveland.

They do say class is permanent....
