A game of two halves? With a barely believable final quarter to boot.

The Giants were so impressive in the first half, racing to a 19-0 lead and putting Denver in their place.

But Sean Payton’s Broncos are a gritty outfit and, thanks to two rushing touchdowns from quarterback Bo Nix overhauled the 2-5 Giants in the fourth quarter.

Then plucky rookie Jaxson Dart snagged a final-minute touchdown to re-establish the lead, only for a last field goal from Will Lutz to win it for the Broncos.

They move to 5-2 and maintain the lead of the AFC West.

    Catch your breath.

Big win for Green Bay, who move to 4-1-1 and stay top of the NFC North table, for now.

Every team in the NFC North has at least a .500 record, with Detroit hosting Tampa Bay on Monday night.

Micah Parson's three sacks and two touchdowns from Josh Jacobs - who was a gametime decision to play - were the difference.

Jacoby Brissett played well in his first start in place of the injured Kyler Murray, throwing for 279 yards and two touchdowns. But it wasn't quite enough.

Thirty three points in the fourth quarter for Denver - that's the most in history by a Broncos team.

  11. FT: Cowboys roll over Commanderspublished at 00:35 BST 20 October

    Washington Commanders 22–44 Dallas Cowboys

CeeDee Lamb and Dak PrescottImage source, Getty Images

The NFL’s best offence continues to sizzle, with the return of CeeDee Lamb adding yet more firepower to Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.

They had too much for the Commanders who were already without their three best receivers and also lost star quarterback Jayden Daniels in the third quarter.

In an increasingly competitive NFC East, Dallas showed signs of solving their defensive issues.

If that trend can continue, they currently look far better equipped than Washington to compete for a play-off berth.

FT: Green Bay Packers 27-23 Arizona Cardinals

That's the game. The Cardinals needed 11 yards for a first down, on the Green Bay 27, with 19 seconds left.

Jacoby Brissett couldn't produce the goods at the end.

Well, he could have done with his kicker making the extra point.

Jude McAtamney missed and that opens the door for Denver to wrest this back.

    Outstanding from the Giants.
